Kyloen Introduces Four-Stage Mascot Progression System to Drive Long-Term Child Engagement
Kylo evolves through Seed, Sprout, Explorer, and Visionary stages as children accumulate experience points
New Delhi, India
Kyloen today revealed the mechanics behind its four-stage mascot progression system, a gamification framework designed to sustain long-term engagement by making children feel that their AI companion Kylo is growing alongside them.
The progression system tracks experience points (XP) earned through conversations and personality games. Kylo evolves through four visual stages: Seed (0-299 XP), characterised by soft purple tones and a gentle demeanour; Sprout (300-499 XP), featuring sky blue gradients and a growing curiosity; Explorer (500-799 XP), rendered in vibrant pink with a crown of stars; and Visionary (800+ XP), presented in emerald green with a distinguished crown accessory.
Emotional Connection Through Visual Growth
Each stage transition triggers a celebration sequence within the application, reinforcing the sense that the child's engagement directly contributes to Kylo's development. The mascot also expresses five mood states, happy, thinking, excited, calm, and celebrating, which respond to the emotional tone of conversations in real-time.
"Children invest emotionally in characters that grow with them. The progression system isn't just gamification, it's a relationship-building mechanism that makes Kylo feel real," said Neha Kapoor, Founder and CEO.
