Your right to raise a grievance
Under the Information Technology Act 2000, the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA), every user has the right to raise a formal grievance with us. We take every grievance seriously and are committed to resolving it fairly and promptly.

How to file a grievance
Send an email to grievance@kyloen.com with the following subject line format:
Example: GRIEVANCE — Priya Sharma — Data deletion request not processed
What to include in your grievance
- Your full name and registered account email address
- Your child's first name (if the grievance relates to your child)
- A clear description of the issue or concern
- The date(s) the issue occurred, if relevant
- What resolution you are seeking
- Any supporting information, screenshots, or references
Response timeline
These timelines are as required by the DPDPA 2023 and IT Rules 2021.
Types of grievances we handle
Privacy and data concerns
Data not deleted, data shared without consent, incorrect data held about you
Data deletion requests
If your account deletion or data erasure request has not been actioned within 30 days
Safety concerns
Concerns about content your child saw, crisis alerts not received, or safety system failures
Billing disputes
Incorrect charges, refunds not processed, subscription issues
Content concerns
If Kylo produced inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
Account access issues
Unable to access your account, security concerns
Escalation — if we do not resolve in 30 days
If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction within 30 days of filing, you have the following escalation options:
- Data Protection Board of India: Once constituted under DPDPA 2023, you may approach the Board directly with complaints about personal data processing. We will update this page with the Board's filing process once it is operational.
- Delhi High Court: You may approach the courts of competent jurisdiction in New Delhi, India for legal recourse.
- Consumer Forum: You may file a complaint with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
