Yes. Kyloen's academic tutoring capability is aligned with both CBSE and ICSE syllabi for Classes 1 through 12. The platform understands the NCERT textbook structure for CBSE students and the CISCE curriculum for ICSE students. Schools can also configure subject coverage to match their specific curriculum calendar.
What is a School DPA and does Kyloen support it?
A School Data Processing Agreement (School DPA) is a formal contract specifying exactly how student data will be collected, used, stored, and protected. Kyloen has a pre-drafted School DPA available at kyloen.com/school-dpa. It covers DPDP Act 2023 handling, sub-processor disclosure, no advertising use, no AI training use, and parental consent flows.
How do teachers use the Educator Dashboard?
Teachers see aggregated, anonymised insights showing which topics students are exploring with Kylo most frequently, which subjects generate the most questions, and where learning gaps appear across the class. They do not see individual student conversations. This dashboard is a planning tool for teachers, not a surveillance tool.
What does Kyloen cost for schools?
Nothing during beta. We aren’t publishing school pricing yet; instead we’re running free pilots with interested schools. Pilots include the School DPA, educator dashboard access, bulk parent consent and staff orientation. Email schools@kyloen.com to express interest.
How does Kyloen handle DPDP compliance for schools?
For school deployments, Kyloen processes student data under the school as the Data Fiduciary, with parental consent obtained through the school's processes or Kyloen's consent flows. Student data is handled under India's DPDP Act 2023 and governed by Indian law. We do not use student data for advertising, AI training, or any purpose beyond educational service delivery.
