The Origin
The kid whose wish became Kylo
Arjun
The kid whose idea became Kylo
When Arjun was little, he wished for a friend who would always listen — who would never judge him, never get tired of his questions, and always be there when he needed someone to talk to.
That wish became Kyloen. Every design decision — the warmth, the patience, the non-judgment, the genuine curiosity — comes from asking: what would the perfect childhood companion actually be like for a child like Arjun?
Kylo is the character. Kyloen is his world.
Four Stages of Growth
Kylo grows as your child grows
Not time-based. Milestone-based. The more your child engages, explores, and grows — the more Kylo evolves to reflect who they are becoming.
The Seed
0–299 XPFirst 30 Days
Kylo begins as pure potential — warm, welcoming, and eager to know your child. In this stage, Kylo asks gentle questions, listens without judgment, and starts building the memory that will power everything that follows.
Unlocked at this stage:
The Sprout
300–499 XPEmerging Identity
Personality emerges. Interests appear. Kylo begins to recognise what lights your child up — which subjects they engage with deeply, which topics they return to, what makes them laugh. The career discovery engine activates.
Unlocked at this stage:
The Explorer
500–799 XPIdentity Forming
Identity is forming. Kylo knows your child well now — their humor, their fears, their dreams, their frustrations. Colours shift in Kylo's appearance to reflect the emerging personality. Conversations become richer and deeper.
Unlocked at this stage:
The Visionary
800+ XPFully Evolved
Kylo is now a reflection of who your child has become. Fully evolved, completely unique to this specific child, with hundreds of conversations of shared memory. The relationship at this stage is something no other product can replicate.
Unlocked at this stage:
Four Worlds
One Kylo. Four completely different experiences.
A 6-year-old and a 16-year-old are not the same person. Kylo's world changes completely based on your child's age — not just the design, but the language, the tone, the features, and the entire personality of the interaction.
The Warm World
The Little Explorer
Voice-first interface. Giant, colourful buttons. Warm orange palette. Kylo speaks in short, enthusiastic sentences with simple vocabulary. Activities feel like play. Questions feel like games. Every session ends with a sticker.
The Builder World
The XP Collector
XP bars, badges, streaks, and gamified challenges. Kylo talks like a cool older friend — enthusiastic, slightly competitive, full of 'levelling up' language. Learning feels like a game you actually want to win.
The Thinker World
The Deep Diver
No baby talk. Dark mode available. Kylo speaks with depth and respect — asking real questions, taking opinions seriously, never patronising. This age group wants to be understood, not managed. Kylo delivers exactly that.
The Visionary World
The Future Builder
Near-adult tone. Career maps, real-world advice, strategic thinking. Kylo is a mentor as much as a companion — direct, honest, and treating the teenager as the capable young adult they are becoming.
Memory & Personalisation
Kylo never forgets a thing about your child
Remembers your name preference
Your child names Kylo whatever they want. That name is used in every conversation, every milestone, every notification.
Remembers past conversations
If your child mentioned last week that they're nervous about a test, Kylo will ask how it went — just like a real friend would.
Remembers what makes them laugh
Kylo's humour adapts to what your child finds funny — and weaves it naturally into conversations to keep engagement high.
Remembers their heroes and role models
When a child talks about someone they admire, Kylo remembers and references that person when relevant — 'You mentioned Elon Musk once. Did you know his first big failure was...'
FAQ
Questions about Kylo answered
Who is Kylo and what is the story behind the character?
Kylo was inspired by Arjun — Neha Kapoor's son — who was born on 07·07·2016. When Arjun was young, he wished for a friend who would always listen, never judge, and always be there. That wish became Kylo. Every design decision in the Kylo character — the warmth, the patience, the non-judgment, the genuine curiosity about every child — comes from asking: what would the perfect childhood companion be like?
Does Kylo look different for every child?
Kylo's visual stage (Seed, Sprout, Explorer, Visionary) changes based on the XP your child has accumulated through their engagement. At higher stages, Kylo's colours and crown accessory evolve to reflect the child's growth. The name your child gives Kylo is also unique to them. So while the character is the same across the platform, every child's experience of Kylo feels personal — because it is.
What is XP and how does Kylo evolve?
XP (Experience Points) is earned through genuine engagement — having conversations, completing learning activities, maintaining streaks, and exploring new topics. The evolution from Seed to Sprout to Explorer to Visionary is milestone-based, not purely time-based. A child who engages deeply will evolve Kylo faster than a child who uses it sporadically. Each evolution unlocks richer features and deeper conversational capabilities.
Can my child change Kylo's name?
Yes — when your child starts using Kyloen, they go through a brief onboarding where they choose what to call their companion. They can use the default name Kylo or give their companion any name they want. This name is stored and used across all conversations and notifications. A child who names their companion 'Arjun' will see 'Arjun says...' in every response.
Why does Kylo matter so much for engagement and safety?
Children who have an emotional attachment to Kylo are dramatically more likely to return daily, to be honest in conversations, and to use the safety features. Research on digital companions consistently shows that children who feel a genuine relationship with an AI character engage far more deeply than those who see it as a tool. The safety curriculum, EQ building, and career discovery all depend on children feeling safe enough to be authentic — and that safety comes from the relationship with Kylo.
Your child's best friend is waiting
A friend who remembers their name, their dreams, their favourite topics, and their worst days. A friend who is always there — at 7 AM before school, at 11 PM when they can't sleep, and every moment in between.
