Simple, fair terms for a children's platform. No jargon.
1. Who can use Kyloen
Kyloen accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. Kyloen is designed for children aged 5 to 18 who use it under their parent's account and supervision. By creating an account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child being added, and that you are 18 years of age or older. If we discover an account has been created by a minor without parental consent, we will immediately suspend it.
2. Subscription and billing
Current plans:
Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew on the same date each month. Payments are processed via Razorpay or Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method each month until you cancel.
A 14-day free trial is available for new accounts. Your card is charged only after the trial ends. You will receive an email reminder 3 days before the first charge.
Prices may change with 30 days prior notice by email. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days in the current period. See our Refund Policy for the 7-day full refund option.
4. AI disclaimer — important
Kyloen uses advanced AI to generate Kylo's responses and to analyse conversation patterns for insights. AI can occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or make mistakes.
Kyloen is NOT a substitute for:
- Professional medical advice or diagnosis
- Professional psychological or psychiatric treatment
- Licensed educational instruction or tutoring
- Emergency services or crisis intervention
If you or your child is in distress or requires professional help, please contact a qualified professional. In an emergency, call 112 (India). Kyloen's crisis detection is a safety feature, not a medical service.
5. Parent responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring your child uses Kyloen appropriately. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility. Do not share your account with other families — each family requires their own subscription.
6. Permitted and prohibited use
Kyloen may only be used for:
- Personal, non-commercial family use
- Educational interaction between a child and their Kylo companion
Prohibited actions:
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from Kyloen
- Using Kyloen to generate, share, or store illegal or harmful content
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trial access
- Misrepresenting yourself or your child to gain access to the service
7. Child safety and account termination
Kyloen reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate any account where we detect use that puts a child at risk, violates child safety principles, or attempts to manipulate Kylo into generating inappropriate content. In genuine safety emergencies, we may proactively contact emergency services. We take child safety seriously — accounts that violate these principles will not be restored.
8. Intellectual property
All content on Kyloen — including Kylo's design, the Kyloen name, mascot artwork, app design, and underlying technology — is owned by QX137 Future Tech (OPC) Private Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of it without written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
Kyloen is provided “as is”. We are not liable for:
- Inaccuracies in AI-generated responses or insights
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Service interruptions or technical failures
- Actions taken by you or your child based on Kylo's responses
Maximum liability cap:
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to Kyloen in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.
10. Dispute resolution
If you have a dispute with Kyloen, please first contact us at grievance@kyloen.com. We will make every effort to resolve the issue within 30 days through good-faith mediation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be referred to and finally resolved by courts of competent jurisdiction in New Delhi, India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Kyloen shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi (Delhi High Court), India.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Kyloen after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
