Kyloen Becomes First AI Companion to Speak Natural Hinglish with Indian Children

Language model tuned for tum/tumhe register, CBSE vocabulary, and Indian cultural references

New Delhi, India

Kyloen today highlighted its breakthrough approach to bilingual conversation, becoming the first AI companion for children that speaks natural Hinglish, the Hindi-English code-switching pattern used by over 350 million Indians in daily life.

The system mirrors each child's language patterns in real-time. When a child writes in Hinglish, Kylo responds in Hinglish. When they switch to formal English for homework help, Kylo adapts accordingly. The AI uses the respectful tum/tumhe register exclusively and never uses the informal tu/tujhe forms, aligning with how most educated Indian families speak to children.

Cultural Intelligence Built In

Beyond language, Kyloen's cultural intelligence layer understands CBSE and ICSE board structures, JEE and NEET preparation pressure, IPL cricket seasons, Indian festival calendars including Diwali, Holi, Eid, and Christmas, and the dynamics of joint family households. This cultural context informs everything from homework help approaches to emotional support strategies.

"When a child says 'yaar maths samajh nahi aa raha', they need an AI that understands not just the words but the frustration, the exam pressure, and the cultural context behind it. That's what Kylo delivers," said Neha Kapoor, Founder and CEO.

The Hinglish capability is available to all Kyloen subscribers and works across all four age groups, with age-appropriate vocabulary and cultural references for each developmental stage.
